Headquartered in New York, AICA-USA's membership comprises over 500 critics, curators, scholars, and art historians working throughout the United States. AICA-USA supports arts writers through programs and membership that offers free access to museums across the globe.

Programs

AICA’s year-round programming supports, celebrates, and promotes individuals and institutions demonstrating excellence in art criticism. We organize lectures and panels and host regional conferences and symposia. Two of our most important ongoing programs, the Young Art Critic's Mentoring Program and the Art Writing Workshop, engage accomplished art critics to mentor emerging writers.
