Event Recap: Spring Member Gathering, May 2026
On May 14th, we hosted our first in-person event of the year at CUNY Baruch's Mishkin Gallery in New York! It was a thrill to see AICA-USA members and non-members alike turn out for a warm evening of conversation across generations, disciplines, and practices.
Our heartfelt thanks goes to special guest speaker Hrag Vartanian, AICA-USA President John Ravenal, and AICA-USA board member/Mishkin Gallery director Maika Pollack for their remarks. We'd also like to thank the Mishkin Gallery and its staff for allowing us to meet in their space, and for their valiant efforts in helping us put this event together. An additional thanks goes out to Zhen Guo, whose Changing Cultures: Zhen Guo, A Retrospective provided a vibrant setting for our event. Be sure to visit the Mishkin Gallery before it closes on June 12!
Stay tuned to AICA-USA’s channels to find out about future events and gatherings! AICA-USA is a member-powered nonprofit organization, and our programs are made possible through your support. If you’d like to see more events like this, consider contributing at aica.kindful.com.
