The Armory Show 2012 Accreditation

The online press accreditation process for the 2012 Armory Show is now open and will end at midnight, Monday, March 5. After that time, run-of-fair accreditation requests must be completed in person at the Press Office on Pier 92 (12th Avenue and 55th Street in Manhattan).  Please click here to complete your online press accreditation.

Identification and credentials will be required to pick up your pass. Each Press Pass is non-transferable and not valid for guests. If you need access for assistants or colleagues, they will be required to register separately and must bring proper identification and credentials.

Photographers and camera crews must have permission from individual exhibitors before photographing artwork and must be accompanied by an Armory Show representative.

All press inquiries will be handled at the Press Office on Pier 92.

Press Pass allows complimentary access to The Armory Show during the following times:

Wednesday, March 7:
10:30 am: Press Conference (see details below)
Noon – 5 pm: Press Preview
5 – 9 pm: Vernissage

Thursday, March 8, Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10:
Noon  –  8 pm

Sunday, March 11:
Noon – 7pm

Where:  The Wall Street Journal Media Lounge, Pier 94, 55th Street and 12th Avenue in Manhattan

When:  Wednesday, March 7

9:30 am: On-site press registration begins at the Press Office in Pier 92.  Please click here to register online before March 5 and avoid onsite registration.

10:00 am: Press who have pre-registered online will be allowed entrance to the Media Lounge.  Press that need to be registered must go to the Press Office on Pier 92.

10:30 am: Press conference begins.  Refreshments will be served.

11:00 am: Remarks

11:30 am: Coffee and Pastries provided by Great Performances.

Noon – 5pm: Piers 92 and 94 open for preview.

5 – 9 pm: Vernissage

The Armory Show, a leading international contemporary and modern art fair and one of the most important annual art events in New York, takes place every March on Piers 92 & 94 in Manhattan. For the fourteenth edition, The Armory Show will unveil significant changes to the fair, including a redesigned floor plan, three exciting new programs, more amenities, and new farm-to-table restaurant and café. The 2012 edition will feature an international roster of exciting, leading galleries, the acclaimed Armory Show VIP program, a lively opening night party at MoMA, the eclectic and engaging Open Forum program with major art- world figures, Armory Film, a series featuring an international selection of leading contemporary video and experimental films curated by Moving Image, and Armory Arts Week in partnership with New York's top cultural institutions. This year's Armory Show will also feature the work of the 2012 Commissioned Artist Theaster Gates and the vibrant art of the Nordic Countries in Armory Focus.
